Terms & Conditions

  • All clients are advised to arrive 15 minutes prior to their allocated appointment time.
  • Any clients arriving over 15 minutes late may have to be rescheduled and have their booking deposit forefited.
  • All clients must be over the age of 18. If under 18 they must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian.
  • FocalPoint Stuios may request to see a client’s ID prior to the session. All clients are therefore expected to bring proof of identification to the studio.
  • FocalPoint Stuios reserves the right to deny or shorten a clients session or part of their session if they fail to arrive with clean, product free (or minimal product) hair and/or have a contagious skin condition due to health & hygiene concerns for other clients.
  • For copyright protection purposes, the use of personal camera/recording equipment is strictly prohibited within the studio.
  • All sessions are subject to a fully refundable credit/debit card booking deposit of £60 per person taken at the time of booking. This is to guarantee the clients date and time and ensure that the client intends to keep any appointments they have made with FocalPoint Studios. Deposits can only be refunded once the client has completed their entire session (makeup & hair, photography and seperate viewing session).
  • A client’s deposit will not be refundable if 1) The client or any participants do not turn up to their appointment. 2) The client or any participants could not complete the entire makeover, photography and seperate viewing sessions. 3) The client or any participants do not give at least 3 working days to reschedule their appointment. 4) The client or any participants reschedule their appointment more than once. 5) The client or any participants cancel their appointment.
  • If a client wishes to reschedule their appointment, a notice period of 3 working days must be given prior to the original appointment date and time. A fee of £25 applies when any appointment is rescheduled prior to the notice period of 3 working days. The £25 fee is non refundable.
  • Booking deposits can only be refunded to the same card that was used to make the original payment.
  • Booking deposit refunds can take 5 – 7 working days to process.
  • Any vouchers or promotional deals bought from FocalPoint Studios or elsewhere do not form part of the booking deposit and are non refundable.
  • Any free image(s) and/or print(s) given as part of a promotional deal must be of the main client only and not of any guests.
  • Clients are under no obligation to purchase any images, prints, wall art or other product from FocalPoint Studios.
  • Clients have a right to cancel their booking up to 7 days after the date their booking was confirmed. To do this, clients must notify FocalPoint Studios that they wish to cancel their appointment by post to the address given on the contact page. Their notification letter must be received by FocalPoint Studios no later than 7 days after the booking was confirmed.
